Chilli Squid with Lime Aioli

Stunning Looking and tasty Starter. Can you go wrong with it?

Serves : 2
Prep Time: 15 minutes
Cooking Time : 5 minutes


Lime Aioli:
Juice of 2 limes
2 egg yolks
2 garlic cloves, peeled, finely chopped
200 ml olive oil
salt and pepper

2 prepared squids
Oil (enough for deep frying)
Salt and black pepper
1 red chilli, finely chopped


Lime Aioli:
Blitz the lime, egg yolks and garlic.
Drizzle the oil in and keep blitzing.

Cut up the squid.
In a bowl add corn flour and season the corn flour.
Dip the squid in the cornflour.
Deep fry the squid for about 2 minutes or until golden brown.
Remove the squid and sprinkle chilli on top.
