Recipe – Chilli Bean Braised Beef

Serves: 2
Prep Time: 15 minutes
Cooking Time: 25 minutes

Ingredients:
2 beef sirlion, diced
1 tbsp Shaoshing rice wine or dry sherry
2 shallots, roughly chopped
2 spring onions, sliced
100ml beef stock
2 tbsp gochuang
2 tbsp light soy sauce
1 tsp dark soy sauce
1 tsp soft light brown sugar
1 tbsp runny honey

Method:
Heat a wok over a high heat until it starts to smoke and add oil.
Stir-fry the shallots for 2 minutes.
Remove the shallots and place them to one side>
Add the beef and cook for a minute.
Add the Shaoshing wine.
Add the spring onions.
Add the bottom 6 ingredients
Lower the heat to a medium heat.
Simmer for 12 minutes, or until beef is tender.

Serve!
Eat!
