Pork, Chorizo and Bean Burger

Delicious alternative to the beef burger!


Serves: Makes 4 burgers
Prep Time: 20 Minutes
Marinade Time: 0 Hours
Cooking Time: 30 Minutes
Difficulty: Easy.


  • 1/2 cooking chorizo, skin removed, finely chopped
  • Small pack (250g) of pork mince
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 lime, juice of
  • Small can of mixed beans, drained and rinsed and mashed
  • Salt and black pepper
  • 4 bread buns
  • A bag of rocket or Italian salad leaves


-Mix the chorizo, mincemeat, paprika, lime juice, beans and seasoning in a bowl, with your hands, until well combined.
-Shape into 4 burgers.
-Preheat oven to 200 Deg C.
-Cook the burgers for 30 minutes, or until cooked.
-Toast the buns for 3 minutes.
-Add the burgers to the buns and add garnish.
